YM Toh Muda Dato’ Rizal Ashram bin Tun Dato’ Seri Utama Ramli

As YM Toh Muda Dato’ Rizal Ashram bin Tun Dato’ Seri Utama Ramli (“YM Toh Muda Dato’ Rizal Ashram”) a Malaysian aged 49 was appointed as Independent Non-Executive Chairman on 1 December 2025, he has not attended any Board meeting held during the financial period.

 YM Toh Muda Dato’ Rizal Ashram holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Indiana University, USA. He also pursued studies in International Business, having been partly educated at Indiana University, USA, and subsequently transferred his credits to American Intercontinental University in London, England, where he graduated.

He was involved in the motoring industry when he set up R3 Motoring Sdn. Bhd., having first started through a motor trading joint venture with a UK motoring company in 2002. He also owned and operated a car showroom and car dealership in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

 Subsequently, he set up Crossborder Scapes Sdn. Bhd. (“Crossborder Scapes”) and ventured into the Oil and Gas industry, where Crossborder Scapes owned two vessels (34-metre fast crew boats) and chartered out to Petronas Carigali from 2008 to 2015, and eventually operated a total fleet of five vessels.

 A motorsport enthusiast, he has been active in the motor racing circuit since his mid-teens and has developed a strong passion for the motor racing industry. He is also a national driver who represented Malaysia in the German F3 Championship (2002), British F3 Championship (2003), Porsche Infineon Carrera Cup Asia Championship (2004 & 2005) and Lamborghini Supertrofeo Asia Championship (2012).

 At present, he also sits on the Board of Directors of XOX Bhd. and HeiTech Padu Berhad.

 He has no family relationship with any director and/or major shareholder of Symphony Life Berhad (“SymLife”); no conflict of interest or potential conflict of interest in any competing business with SymLife and its subsidiaries; has not been convicted of any offence (other than traffic offences) within the past five (5) years; and has not been imposed with any public sanction or penalty by the relevant regulatory bodies during the financial period.

Datuk Kenneth Vun

Datuk Kenneth Vun @ Vun Yun Liun, a Malaysian aged 51, was appointed as the Managing Director effective 26 March 2025. Datuk Kenneth obtained various certifications, including Certified Solutions Consultant Certification (Information Technology) from Intel Corporation, the CompTIA Server+ Certified Professional Certificate from the Computing Technology Industry Association as well as the CIW Associate Certification in Internet and Web Skills from CIW Associates.

With over 30 years of experience, Datuk Kenneth has led businesses across diverse industries, including technology, finance, property development, and F&B. He founded his first IT company in Sabah before expanding operations across Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and China.

Recognised for his strategic foresight, he has received multiple accolades, including the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Top Nominee of the Year (2004), TOYM Outstanding Young Malaysian Award (2006) and APEA Outstanding Entrepreneur Award (2007). His leadership in the technology sector has also been acknowledged with Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific (2005) and PIKOM Malaysia Key Industry Leader (2006).

Tan Sik Eek

Tan Sik Eek, a Malaysian aged 49, was appointed to the Board on 27 December 2022. He graduated with a degree from University of Sydney, Australia in the area of Economics and Political Science.

Tan Sik Eek has more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance advisory and private equity investment. Early in his career, he was specialising in securing funding from a series of established North America global opportunity fund for companies listed in the regional capital markets. He was previously a partner in a private equity firm focused on investing companies seeking growth funding and actively involved in pre-IPO capital.

Tan has been on the board of a few public listed companies, actively involved with management strategy, day to day operational oversight, fund raising and business development planning of the various companies.

Yong Ket Inn

Yong Ket Inn, a Malaysian, aged 68, was appointed to the Board on 1 April 2023. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Management and Administrative Studies from the University of Aston, Birmingham, England.

Yong started his career at a Chartered Accountants firm in England in 1981 and has accumulated over 30 years working experience in the field of accounting, auditing and taxation. Subsequently, he has held the position as Head of Finance in various offshore engineering and shipbuilding companies, integrated steel mill and IT companies. 

 Yong is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and Malaysian Institute of  Taxation, and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

Yong currently sits on the Board of NetX Holdings Berhad and XOX Technology Berhad. 

Tan Yu Wei

Tan Yu Wei, a Malaysian, aged 40, was appointed to the Board on 11 January 2024. He graduated with a Bachelor of Design in Interior Design from the Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia.

Tan started his career as a Junior Designer in 2007 under the apprenticeship of the Design Director at Quirk & Associates Sdn. Bhd. He then joined Nexus Event Management Sdn. Bhd. as an Event Designer from 2009 to 2011, in which he explored in events, stage and exhibition design and handled projects for, amongst others, Mercedes-Benz and British-American Tobacco.

Since 2012, Tan was appointed as Chief Executive Designer of Design Dept Sdn. Bhd. and expanded it into an award-winning design and construction company, specialising in F&B commercial projects such as Ferria, Finch, LaFleur, Lavo, Bounce, The Lemon Tree, Oversea Restaurants and many more.

Bianca Ng Sze Cay

Bianca, a Malaysian, aged 30, was appointed to the Board on 15 July 2024. She completed her Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia in Sekolah Menengah Stella Maris.

Bianca began her career as a realtor and has extensive experience in real estate. She led a team of more than 150 real estate agents with mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to ensure team success and growth. In addition, she has developed and implemented strategic sales plans, resulting in a 30% increase in annual revenue, and has built and maintained a strong network of clients, offering exceptional customer service and personalised real estate solutions.

Bianca also undertakes market analysis to identify trends and opportunities, optimising marketing strategies to attract potential buyers and sellers, and managed marketing campaigns i.e. digital marketing, social media and traditional advertising, to enhance brand visibility and drive leads. She also collaborated with legal, financial and inspection teams to ensure seamless and efficient transaction processes.
